What Party Recipes And DIY Are Being Featured Today?

First of all, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support and friendship, as I truly enjoy “meeting and greeting” everyone and your submissions each week!

I appreciate your “sharing is caring” philosophy that you demonstrate!

Each week, it gets more and more difficult to choose party recipes and DIY, sometimes tutorials to be featured, as I think everyone deserves to be featured!

Let’s get on to what party recipes and DIY are being featured today, eh?

All party recipes and DIY that are featured today will be personally contacted, the way I like to do things, sharing the say G’day party featured me! badge, should they wish to include it on their site!

Not in any order, as the photos were chosen randomly by me!

I love cheesecake of any kind and my very first cheesecake was blueberry cheesecake; hence why Michelle from Dishes and Dust BunniesBlueberry Cheesecake caught my eye right away! While Michelle has made a strawberry one too, could anyone really resist “cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust” too?

I don’t know if it is the FREEZING weather here in Adelaide, but did you ever look at a recipe or photo and say, “I want some of that now!” This is exactly what April from April J. Harris the 21st Century Housewife‘s Vegetarian Spaghetti Bolognese did for me! While April and her family are trying to cut back on meat, I was intrigued this recipe was made with Quorn mince! Have you ever tried Quorn?

I am a big fan of Caribbean cuisine and have been to the Caribbean several times! When I saw Shinnee from Sweet & Savory by Shinee‘s Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings, I could already feel myself warming up with 27 more days of winter; but who is counting! Who could not be food excited by Shinee’s description “Sticky, messy, and absolutely irresistible, these Jamaican jerk chicken wings are baked to crisp perfection!”

Little did Kendra from Joy In Our Home know that her Upcycled Barn Door for her monthly DIY challenge would be highlighted on Kathryn from The Dedicated House‘s Weekly Featured Series, eh? I love this idea and how Kendra shared, “I think one of the most exciting things about this door is how little it cost to make, but only because we upcycled materials. It cost a whopping $5…. that is, until we bought the door handle for it, which cost more than the door itself! LOL!” What a bargain and great DIY project!

Don’t you think it’s funny how Kathryn featured Kendra’s Upcycled Barn Door and how in turn Kathryn’s feature caught my eye to be featured today?

I LOVE Pay It Forward posts and acknowledging what bloggers do!

I have never had a Smore to date, so when I saw Kimberly from Lou Lou GirlsSmore Ice Cream Pops, I thought that were “just that little bit different,” like me! I do think I will have to wait until the weather is not FREEZING to try this recipe, eh?

Not only did Christine from A Sprinkle of This and That‘s Orange Summer Squares catch my eye, but it was probably that Christine shared, “The colors and flavors of citrus just say summer to me.” “I WANT IT TO BE WARM!”, my mind YELLED! lol
I really did enjoy Christine’s presentation and wouldn’t you love to enjoy one of these summer square right now?

Not “beating around the bush,” I want to make Lisa from Cooking with Curls
Lemon- Garlic Skillet Chicken! I like how Lisa S-M-A-S-H-E-D the garlic, then baked this healthy and delicious looking dish! Friends recently shared lemons off their tree and I sense making this dish is not too far away!

I love finding unique home decor that expresses Chef Georgio’s and my eccentric personalities! I especially enjoy updating the look of our leather lounge seasonally with pillows! How excited was I that Claire from Hearthandmade UK highlighted and shared the geometric patterns and pastel colored cushions of the Dan 300 group’s 2013 collection, an Australian company, which was “founded by a very inspiring lady named Dani.”

For those who know me, know I love animals, one of my nicknames is Dr. Doolittle (yes for talking with the animals) and have a true affinity with them, and them for me! Noel from Apron Free Cooking‘s Cackling Veggie Cornbread ~ Pet Recipe “intrigued me!” I loved how Noel shared, “We have several animals in the house. Actually we have a lot. My husband calls them “The Dirty Dozen.”; which also is one of my favorite movies! Cooky was crazy for cornbread with eggshells! Please don’t make me say that three times fast!

I know you will be surprised when I say I had a Mickey Mouse waffle iron too! I used to ask everyone who would listen, “Would you like some waffles today?” When I saw
Belle from Reviews, Chews and How-To’s Mickey Mouse Chocolate Oatmeal Protein Waffles, I thought, not only are they healthy, but they made me
S-Q-U-E-A-L! Surprised? lol

There is always something so expressive in Jas from All that’s Jas‘ photography! When I saw Jas’ lemon tulip as part of her Photo Friday 18 – After Rain, it caused me to stop and smell the tulips! What a great way to relax and rejuvenate in this FREEZING weather! Would you like to make a wish upon Jas’s lemon tulip today? Perhaps you may like me to be warm soon!

I seem to be inspired by making Asian cuisine lately, so when I saw Pam from Sidewalk ShoesLemongrass Pork Skewers, I loved the flavor combination and enjoyed when Pam shared, “The pork picks up the hints of lemongrass, ginger and garlic and with the quick grilling stays nice and moist.” I had to laugh when Pam said she doesn’t “like grilling when it’s a zillion degrees outside.” PLEASE….send some HEAT our way, eh?

I genuinely hope you enjoyed What Party Recipes And DIY Are Being Featured Today!

I too wish that someone would send some heat our way – although it’s not as cold here as it is where you are at the moment – it’s just not very summery. Love the lemon tulip – that is gorgeous. I have never seen one like that!
