I always believe the greatest ability in one’s life is the ability to laugh at one’s self; boy, do I keep myself entertained!
Let me digress for a minute so I can let you in on what “previously” was my epic cooking flop disaster (one of many lol) as when interviewed as Member of the Month at Food.com last year.
I had a massive concussion?
Can’t use that!
Didn’t know WHAT a rind was?
Didn’t know that cream of tartar could work such magic when used in a large quantity?
I think that one will suffice for me today and I “see” behind the computer screens you are all now laughing WITH me!
Looking back, I wish through my tears I would have “thought” to take a photo!
Nevermind, I have the memories that have “haunted me until recently!”

Let me tell you, it was not an easy decision for me initially what I would bake as inspired by nic&rocco.
Rocco’s Macaron Course is highly recommended!
The Cupcake Queen and I then had macaron homework to do via Rocco’s Macarons Rule Follow Up Mission Accomplished.
So, with macaron accomplished, I went to my next choice, Lemon Meringue Cupcakes to try and overcome my epic flop disaster.
“Did you ever make Lemon Meringue Pie or cupcakes since your initial epic flop disaster,” I “hear” you say?
I never did until today!
What I really enjoy about Sweet Sensations is there is HEAPS of “wonderfully decadently,” “luxuriously delicious” looking photos with step by step instructions that were “very simple and easy’ to follow.
This gave me the courage to overcome my epic flop disaster right away and it “felt” like nic&rocco were cheering me “each and every step of the way!”
nic&rocco’s recipes “really shows off what can be done with few basic ingredients, some seasonal produce, and a few kitchen equipment necessities for any aspiring baker;” JUST like YOU and ME!
I can also say that no matter your level of baking skill or how many previous “epic flop disasters” you have had lol, Sweet Sensations IS for YOU!
Other than nic&rocco’s Macarons, Macaron Fillings, Macaron Tower recipes (to name a few), these recipes will inspire you!
I have always wanted to make Baked Profiteroles, Profiterole Tarts and um, well, gulp, “try” the Croquembouche! …YOU?

For people who have been following my fun filled food adventures, I get “a tad” excited enjoying Churros and brings me back to New York childhood memories when I was three!
