I certainly wouldn’t argue with Matt as his “family has been cooking macaroni cheese for over 250 years”, true!

I’ll agree with Matt Aglio, Olio E Peperoncino sounds much more romantic than…..
I can’t give all of Matt’s secrets away today! lol

I didn’t know there were so many ways (12) with Old Bread and 4 Ways with New Bread, but Matt shares them too!

With almost tear in my eye, Mum’s Cabbage Rolls made me smile too!

I can’t wait to make Matt’s mum’s recipe!

Really enjoyed “Some Thoughts On Teatime,” and agree that “dishes and foods offer the most tangible connection” with family.

Matt shares his grandfather’s handwritten Storing Biscuit 1765; the story to me is very special indeed.

I was honestly almost sad to leave the back cover of Fast, Fresh and Unbelievably Delicious, but I know I can always return to open the front cover when tomorrow is another day too!

I used a ceramic round fluted pan 25cm (~10 inches) x 4 cm (~1.6 inches) and it came out “perfect” the first time!

Chef Georgio aka hubby devoured two slices with love today!

With a smile on my face as I walked out of the kitchen, I heard “Unbelievably Delicious.”

  4. I haven’t heard the term, ‘French Letter’ for a very long time. I’ve seen the book in the shops and I’ve been thinking it would be a great one to add to my collection. Not only a good cook, he’s a very talented and witty writer so I have no doubt his stories in the book are very entertaining xx
