Say-Gday-Featured-14Do YOU believe Fridays Are About Features, Food And Fun {Pay It Forward}?

My name is Joanne aka Joanna aka mickeydownunder aka FANG and I don’t know who has more fun with these features; me or the surprised reactions of fellow bloggers who participate in Natasha in Oz‘s and my Say G’day Party every week!

Natasha in Oz and I would like to thank each and every one of your submissions each week as it is not only fun meeting you, but we both learn something new in the process!

With SO many wonderful submissions at last week’s party, the sentiment I heard everyone say is they didn’t want to leave; they wanted to continue to P-A-R-T-Y!

Let’s get started with this week’s features!

Not in any order (as you know by now I don’t play favorites), I’d like to introduce you all to the above blogs that are featured by What’s On The List; all will be contacted personally and all can proudly share my “You’ve Been Featured” on What’s On The List badge on their blog should they wish to!

Say Gday Feature

Today, I decided to share these blogs as after all, food, eating and Pay It Forward experiences like real life, is “all about fun!

Starting with the top left, is Karyn from Pint Sized Baker‘s Chocolate Pudding Shooters!

Seriously, how “festively delicious” do these look?

Other than butterscotch pudding, chocolate pudding was my dad’s and my second favorite!

Feel free to hope over and read Happy Birthday Dad From Your Little Butterscotch!

With a tearful joy in my eye, I viewed Stephanie from Positively Stephanie‘s Scrabble Tile Ornaments as my mum was THE BIGGEST Scrabble fan!

When I saw the featured photo, I knew it was my mum’s way of smiling from the heavens above today!

If you are curious and mum’s Scrabble fascination, you can always read more via Happy 80th Birthday Mum’s Special Spice Cake!

For those who have been following my blog, may remember “my friend Annie” from childhood who Princess Svetlana (my real childhood best friend) and I attended her wonderful arts and crafts classes weekly!

When I saw Jennifer from Mom Spotted‘s DIY Cinnamon Ornaments {2 Ingredient Recipe} Easy For Kids, I “knew” Annie was smiling down from the heavens above at me too!

My mum “may” not have been enjoyed cooking and baking, but she could make a mean Bundt Cake; hence Diane from Southern Krazed Chocolate Peppermint Bundt Cake Recipe caught my eye!

Is there nothing better than the flavor combination of chocolate and peppermint around Christmas time?

When I saw Ginger from Gingerly Made‘s Baked Sausage and Pesto Rangoons, I SO wanted one; luckily my computer screen stopped me for um, well, “borrowing one or two!”

I loved Tatanisha from A Mitten Full of SavingsPeppermint Bark; see the peppermint festive thing ringing in what caught my eye this week?

I have never made a bark recipe to date….YOU?

Seriously, just viewing the recipes makes me hungry, so you can image when I got to Wanda Ann from Memories by the Mile‘s Cranberry Coffee Cake, not only was I salivating for a slice…okay two, but thought it would go perfect with my coffee sitting in front of me!

When I was little growing up in New York, it was always “customary” to bring a pressie (Aussie lingo for present) to a teacher for Christmas in appreciation for all they do all year through!

Bekki from Sisters Saving Cents came up with a great do it yourself project with this Adorable & Inexpensive Teacher Gift!

I love things that are handmade, “different and unique” (like me) and something that can be given from the heart that is priceless!

When I shared my friend Joy from Yesterfood‘s handmade Wine Bottle Gift Bags, I thought these were just gorgeous like Joy’s wonderfully, caring personality!

What a great way to put a piece of your heart in a special gift!

I admire anyone that can sew!

Julie from Sum of their Stories really hit home about what Christmas is about with her Framed Christmas Tree Print and really wish more people would stop the “buying presents craziness,” take a step back and remember the true significance of the day!

Thank you Julie and would make a great present on Christmas Day!

I have VERY find childhood memories of Oreo’s and thanks Mindi from Moms Need to Know‘s Snowman Truffles | Christmas Cookie Idea for genuinely brightening my day with these “cute, miniature men!”

You can imagine HOW I S-Q-U-E-A-L-E-D when I found out Mindi had also made Peppermint Oreo Balls; will have to hop over to that recipe too!

People who have been following my blog for a while, may remember my “bobbing for apples” WONDERFUL childhood story via Halloween’s All About Tradition and Food Fun ; hence Heidi from Simplee Thrifty‘s Homemade Candy Apples Recipe
J-U-M-P-E-D out at me!

Last, but certainly not least, I LOVE table settings of any kind and when someone such as Lori from Dining Delight pours so much love in A Merry Little Christmas Tablescape, I could not help but include it in my featured submissions.

When I was little, I used to be THE BIGGEST fan of Twinkies!

While not the most “nutritious food snack,” I loved how I could squeeze the sponge cake and it sprung back at me!

I used to revel trying to lick out all the cream, saving the cake for last!

So when I saw Dawn from Homemaking Hacks Build A Christmas House Out of Twinkies, it transported me back to a time that was fun and carefree!

Thank you Dawn for allowing me relive this very vivid and fun filled food memory!
